The position of the CEO Trainee allows you to enter TELE2 in the fast lane. In 2010, TELE2 Netherlands will recruit one highly qualified graduate, who will be shown the ropes of how telecom works.
We do not believe in lengthy theoretical training, because that’s what you did at university. We do not believe in telling you how things are supposed to be done. We want you to do things, handle responsibility and take the initiative. Of course you will receive guidance along the way and through continuous interaction with the CEO you will expand your knowledge and your capabilities.
The Program
The TELE2 CEO Traineeship Program has been designed to create a highly skilled manager who, from the beginning of his/her career, has been acquainted with the company’s culture and its values. The aim of the program is to entrust the trainee with operational responsibility from day one and prepare him/her for later managerial tasks in an international environment.
One individual will be selected to hold this special position. The CEO Trainee will be a partner for the CEO, following his agenda and conducting projects on his/her own behalf, but should also not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and get the hands dirty.
· During your traineeship you will be working closely with the CEO of TELE2 in the Netherlands.
· From the first day, you will get full responsibility in a dynamic working environment.
· You will experience a year packed with challenges, a very steep learning curve and a lot of fun.
· The CEO has a wider responsibility as Market Area Director Western Europe and member of the Executive Board of Tele2 AB, this will bring you abroad many times.
· You will be offered the opportunity to conduct a project abroad at the end or after your traineeship.
· After the traineeship you will take on a demanding position within TELE2 Netherlands.

Your Profile
Being a CEO Trainee requires dedication, responsibility, flexibility, initiative and at times toughness when it comes to coping with a high workload.
· You have recently graduated with a Master degree in business administration, economics or similar studies;
· You have gained practical work experience (e.g. through internships with renowned companies and/or extensive extra-curricular experience);
· You have studied and/or worked abroad and are fluent in Dutch and English;
· You are a hands-on person, flexible and ready to take initiative;
· You have above average communication skills and you are a team player;
· Your thinking is both solution-oriented and creative;
Recruitment process
· First we will thoroughly review your application documents;
· All candidates who meet our screening criteria for potential CEO Trainees will be invited for an interview with our current CEO-trainee and 1 of our recruiters;
· The second interview will be with a Tele2 Consumer Manager and a HR Consultant
· Subsequently you will take part in tests (assessment) verifying your analytical and communication skills;
· Finally you will be invited to the TELE2 headquarters for an interview with the CEO of TELE2 Netherlands,
· The selected candidate can start as the next CEO Trainee immediately; in case, a later start is however possible.
